Portfolio

Here is a grouping of pieces I recently created for various clients. The requirements ranged from a Flash site with Actionscript to a full CMS implementation which allows the client to update their content, without programming, in a text editor format.

I hope you like what you see!

For AndrewLaurich.com there was a focus on multimedia. He needed a way to display his video reels, photography, voice-overs, and resume in an interesting and interactive way. Flash was a logical choice with its unlimited interactive capabilities. Using Flash provided me visual effects and functionality that would be very difficult to perform otherwise.

IFDC, Inc. requested a site redesign and a Content Management System implementation. I completely reworked their site into a CMS so now nearly everything can be edited without any technical knowledge. I also created a flash banner across the top of their site which shows the current time in select cities across the world.

Dane wanted a personal website to place his cello work. The developer for Dane's site needed a design made. So, I stepped in and created a sample template to use for the site. The piece was created in Photoshop using stock photography for the cello.

    • Taj Groceries

For Taj Groceries I needed a simple design to portray their store information. They needed a two page layout, one with general information and the other with directions to their store. I used the Google Maps API to embed a map that allows you to enter your address and it will display directions to their store.

    • Community Pregnancy Centers

The Community Pregnancy Centers website needed some maintenance work to make it easier to update and navigate. I added drop down menus to make it quicker to get from one area to another and brought some of the sections up to current coding standards which makes edits to the site go much smoother. There were also some interactive changes made to better present the large amount of information.

    • McBethsCrandon.com
    • McBeth's Business Solutions

There was a need for me to design a template for a new store. I combined different aspects of some ideas the client liked and built a fully-functional template. This template conforms to standard coding practices which make for simple and efficient website upkeep.

    • Heavenly Greens

This client wanted a few things to make the site more interesting to the user. I added a flash ticker at the top that draws data from another site. There was also a need to implement a better photo gallery which was done with a setup that is more enveloping for the user.

    • contagiousLA.com
      contagiousLA.com contagiousLA.com
    • contagiousLA

The site for contagiousLA is completely in flash and there were some additions requested by the client. I added fades for switching between sections and added another page to the setup with some additional videos.

    • How I Got Lost

"How I Got Lost" is an upcoming movie and the client desired an interactive experience for their website. For this project I was presented with a design and I chose to implement it entirely in Flash. The user is able to navigate around a virtual desktop with all the information, photos, and trailers related to the movie.

    • Meals for $15

Meals for $15 is a blog that I created to post recipes of meals that I make. It is an example of a blog created using WordPress with a custom template. Blogs can be setup in a week and give you the ability to post anything that you want on the internet without knowing any programming languages.

This is a site I created to let friends and family view some of my pictures I took on my travels around the world. I used Photoshop to create the header and buttons and then added some Javascript to build the photo section.
